日本2017年 - Japan 2017 part 1

This post will be about my trip to Japan in 2017 when I visited Tokyo, and yes there will be some pictures and not only text. I think this post will be divided into two or three posts, but we will see how much time I will have over to write.

My exchange term will actually start in, nowhere less than in Tokyo. My parents and I will first go there to visit some friends of my parents. Gosh, it´s only 4 days until I will land in Japan (!!!) Maybe it´s time for me to start packing? Hmm, well I will do it after I´m done writing this first post.

In April 2017, my father and I went to Tokyo for 10 days to visit his Japanese friend who he had met way back in 1990 at Chichibu marathon. It was my first time in Japan and I was so excited. Somehow we also got lucky to get there just right for the Sakura season.

The first two days we just took it easy and did some exploring of the area in Saitama where we stayed.

A small park in Saitama, it was so beautiful.

A cute lady who was wearing a winter jacket, even though it was over 20C outside >.<'

The third day we visited Ueno Park, Asakusa, and the Emperor's residence. The cherry blossom was on its peak and therefore (of course) Ueno Park was filled with people.

One of many vending machines, Japan loves them ;)

The road up to the temple where there is a lot of small shops with souvenirs, food, etc.

After a lot of walking, we stayed to eat lunch. It looked just like the one in Naruto haha,
and
it was so yummy (´∀`)

The last thing we did this day was to visit the Emperor's residence. We did not enter the residence ground, don´t know if it was because it not was permitted or if it just was closed. Anyhow, I thought it was a shame because you did not see much, besides small glimpses of buildings on the other side of the bridge.

I have a lot more to write about, but now it´s time for me to start packing so I will continue with part 2 later today or tomorrow.

Until then, mate ne, またね~
