My room - 私のへや
Hey 😃
This is going to be a short post. I have a test tomorrow, so I have to get ready for bed early. This post will be about my room (mostly just showing a video of my room), but first, let me update you on what I´ve been up to. It´s only 2,5 weeks left here, which unfortunately is going to be filled with a lot of studying. I have tests and a presentation next week and the week after we have our finals. Ganbarimasu😅 But to write about some more "happy things", I got invited to a Christmas party that the once who arranged the speaking contest is hosting, the best month of the year has arrived, welcome December🎅🎄 and... Today is also my mum's birthday, Happy B-day mum❤️ I have recently got really homesick because usually there is so much stuff going on back home during this time of year. Especially this time of year I like to spend time with my family.
I welcomed the month by going to Universal Studios with my friend Yui. It was super fun and I was dressed in a Hogwarts costume, but I think that I will be writing another post about that day. Besides that, I got to open my chocolate calendar (thanks mum and dad) and watched a lot of Christmas movies. I had a Christmas movie night last Friday at Yui's place (she lives in an apartment close to the University), and we will have another movie night tomorrow. Haha, funny that I found another person that loves Christmas movies as much as I do. On Saturday Jaehee and I will attend a Lucia-celebration in Kobe that JSSK is arranging. After we have also planned to see the illumination light show in Kobe that they have every year which will be fun :3.
Now to what my post should be about, my living situation here at Global Commons. Mum and dad happy now? 😉 This campus was built last year so it´s really modern, for example, most Japanese apartments, houses, etc are really cold during wither, but here we have heaters so we never have to freeze. The room is not so big as you can see on the video below, but I think it´s kind of perfect for the time I´m spending here, I have everything I need. I´m so happy about changing my living situation. But I would give a reminder that, like I wrote above, this is pretty new so if you are going to Japan, don't expect it to be like this. You usually also have to share a room with one or two other people but I guess it´s normal. I have never lived in a dorm before and I like having my own space so this was perfect.
Now I have to get ready for bed. Enjoy the video! (p.s. sorry for my voice, I´m not used to talking to myself on camera haha)
