Baicha - New Bubble tea shop/Tapioca - タピオカ店

Bild
Hey, This will be a short post about my new favorite cafe in my hometown. So I recently found out that a bubble tea shop had opened, the first one ever in my town, so ofc I had to write about it.  So for you who do not know what bubble tea, or tapioca as it is also called in Japan. It is a sweet drink, originated from Taiwan, with all kinds of different tastes, and with so-called tapioca pearls/boba, check it out  here . It is not for everyone, but I love it! When I lived in Japan I was addicted and bought around 4-5 every week haha.  I have been there already 5 times and I have tried 4 different tastes. My favorites are "Black sugar" and "Matcha latte". I have tried it before here in Sweden in Stockholm, but it was not close to the once in Japan. However, this store is something of a different story. The store is called Baicha, and I can say that they make them as good as in Japan!! Meccha oishii (ᗒᗨᗕ).   They have a lot of different tastes, so everyone, please go

Kobe biff and Hiking in Kobe - 神戸市

Bild
Ohayou, Today is Sunday and my last day of summer vacation 😪 I feel like the fall will also be a lot of studying as I will be taking courses both Japanese courses and one law course (again). Anyhow, this post will be about something more fun, me and P:s trips to Kobe :3. During my fall break, P came to Japan for 10 days. Ohh I had missed him. Of course, I had to take him to one of my favourite cities I´ve been to in Japan, which is Kobe. I don't why I like it so much, but I feel like it is not too big, and not too small and you have a good variation of everything. We went there two times during his time in Japan. P birthday is in October and P is a meat lover xD So I had given him in present to eat Kobe biff. We found a really good restaurant where you got a whole set with rice, vegetables, miso soup etc., and you had your own chef who was cooking in front of you. You even got a starter got some dessert. And gosh, it was sooo good. You got different sauces that you could dip the m

Friday in Osaka, Dotonbori - 大阪の金曜日

Ohayou, So this post will be about clubbing in Osaka. During my months in Japan, I only went out two times and both times was because my friend Jaehee from Korea dragged me out haha xD. Do not get me wrong, I like to go out, but one thing you should know about Japan is that the trains stop at midnight, even if the clubs are open until 05-06. So if you do not have walking distance back home you have three options, either stay out and dancing until the trains start again, or pay for one hotel night, or sleep at Mcdonalds (which I did the first time lol). However, the second time I went out was not planned at all. I was in my PJ and ready for bed (my boyfriend was coming early the day after so the plan was to go to bed early). But, around 9-ish Jeahee knocked on my door and was like "WHaat are you going to sleep already??" "Come on, I am going to a Halloween party in Osaka, we can just stay for one hour and then go back home". But of course, we did not stay for just o

Animal café in Japan

Bild
Heej, So this post will be about animal cafes in Japan.  It is my last week of holiday before my fall semester starts. I´ve had a really nice and relaxing summer and I´ve just been loading my batteries. But now I felt like it is time to take upon the blog-thing again.😉 It´s one year ago since I went to Japan (how?!) felt like yesterday... I have been writing before about Japan and their love for animal cafés. They have all kinds of types, owl café, cat café, dog café, etc. I had only been to cat cafés before and mentioned my love for cats to my friend Kevin from the US, who is also a cat fanatic lol. He told me about this animal café where they not only have cats but all kinds of different animals. So, my friend from Korea, him and me decided to go there. However, my friend from Korea was still sleeping (don't know-how as the time was 12.30 a.m.) so only me and Kevin went.  They had all different kinds of animals, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds. They even had a Capybara!

Spring in Japan - 日本の春

Bild

Arima Onsen - Japanese bath

Bild
Ohayou, This post will be about Arima onsen. The last weekend before school started my parents and I went to Arima Onsen which is located outside of Kobe. Arima Onsen is one of Japan's most famous onsen. For you who don´t know what onsen is, it´s basically, a hot bath with water from the mountains (het källa). So kind of like a spa but with natural water. It is something that should be on your bucket list if you plan to visit Japan!  It took us around 1 hour with a bus ( if I remember it right) to get there from Osaka. We had booked a room at a Ryokan, kind of a traditional Japanese hotel/inn. I can really recommend staying at a Ryokan if you are visiting an Onsen, it´s an experience! You get served 24/7 room service included in the price. However, we didn´t have the drinks included, except the tea and water. You get served the dinner at the room, they make the beds for you, we even got to select which pillow we wanted out of, 8 different options haha, the first time that
