Autumn - 秋
Hej,
This post will be shorter than the last one and with mostly pictures. It is Wednesday today and I will be picked up at 9 o´clock by some Japanese friends of the family. I don´t know where we are going, but they had made a reservation to eat crab at 11 o´clock so my guess is to go somewhere by the coast because I know some places are famous for their "winter-crab". The fall has also arrived and it´s starting to get chilly outside. Today it´s only going to be 13 C (right now it´s 9 C). But at the plus side (as we say in Swedish), it´s sunny today :3
Last Saturday, as mentioned in my last post, I went to an Otera - temple outside of Kyoto. I had looked up some pictures online, but I actually think I went to the wrong one haha. But anyway, it was beautiful there, and not so many people as I was expecting. The temple was in the countryside and you had to first walk a passage uphill to get there and then you get to walk inside the temple. It was actually a lot of buildings that were connected by small passage that you got to walk on. In Japan when you enter a temple, you have to take off your shoes. Here we got to carry our shoes in a plastic bag because we didn´t end up at the place we started. Along the way, they had some people who were selling handmade things, so I ended up buying Christmas presents and one little present for me.
When we got out of the temple they had a small market with foods and snacks. I love this because you get to try almost everything. I bought some typical Japanese snacks that I will bring home. Our relatives always come to us during the 25th or 26th od December so I´m planning to let them try some :3 Oh, one more thing. I love the mochis with a strawberry inside, they are a little bit pricey but they are so oishii (tasty).
Now I will start to get ready for my day, It´s almost 8 o´clock here now. Enjoy the pictures😃

The passage between the different buildings, beautiful gold-colored lanterns
was decorated along the passage.
This is what the area around the temple looked like.
How it can look inside in a Japanese temple.
One thing that I bought, the woman who made them really liked Rolling stones
The passage from the temple, I think it will be even more beautiful in one or two weeks
The garden area from the temple. This would be a nice view to woke up to, right?😜
Here are pictures of the sweets they sold, including my beloved mochi <3
