Naruto & Boruto Ninja Village and trip to Miyazu

Bild
Hey, Then it was finally time for me to get this post done. So to continue where the last post ended, I was right, we went to the coast where we ate crab and one of the famous temples during autumn. The day started with that Kenji and his wife came and pick me up. It took around two hours to get to our destination, but it was fine. We drove through the mountains who were dressed in yellow and red. It was beautiful. However, we had left a clear sky and sunny Hirakata, and arrived at a cloudly and cold Miyazu. Our final destination was Miyazu where we ate crab at an Inn. Let me just say OMG, it was so much food, but it was so good. We ate for two and a half hours (!). I kind of felt bad in the end because I had to leave the last dishes because I couldn't eat more. You will see some pictures below. I also got to take with me a crab home, which I ate the day after 3 After lunch we went to Nariaiji Temple and Mt.Benten. The view from the mountain was amazing. We even got to see a r

Autumn - 秋

Hej, This post will be shorter than the last one and with mostly pictures. It is Wednesday today and I will be picked up at 9 o´clock by some Japanese friends of the family. I don´t know where we are going, but they had made a reservation to eat crab at 11 o´clock so my guess is to go somewhere by the coast because I know some places are famous for their "winter-crab". The fall has also arrived and it´s starting to get chilly outside. Today it´s only going to be 13 C (right now it´s 9 C). But at the plus side (as we say in Swedish), it´s sunny today :3 Last Saturday, as mentioned in my last post, I went to an Otera - temple outside of Kyoto. I had looked up some pictures online, but I actually think I went to the wrong one haha. But anyway, it was beautiful there, and not so many people as I was expecting. The temple was in the countryside and you had to first walk a passage uphill to get there and then you get to walk inside the temple. It was actually a lot of bu

Japanese Speaking Competition - 日本語のスピーキングコンテスト

Bild
Hey Monday😃 This weekend was really awesome. On Saturday I went to the "countryside" near Kyoto, but I´m not going to talk about that in this post. This post will be about what I did on Sunday.... which was to participate in a speaking contest. And I can say, OMG it was scary. So to start from the beginning. We had a meeting a few weeks ago with all the participators (10 finalists). There were only Asian people, mostly Chinese, who could practically speak Japanese fluently😅 and then it was me, studied Japanese one semester at the University haha. But yeah I thought what the heck, it will be a fun experience.  And now I can put on my resume that my first time participating in a speaking contest was where I had to perform a speech in Japanese for 5 minutes😆 The day started with all finalists meeting up at 11 o´clock at the train station before we went to the place where the competition was taking place. The first thing on the schedule was a rehearsal, they showed us

Open Air Museum of Old Japanese Farmhouses

Hey😊🍁 It´s Thursday here, and tomorrow it´s the weekend again. But this weekend will include a lot of studying, and I will also participate in a speaking contest on Saturday. We will hold a speech for 5 minutes in Japanese, which will be a real challenge, especially when all other people who are in the contest are Chinese and can speak Japanese fluently😅 I also mixed up the dates and I thought it was going to be next weekend so I´m not directly prepared, but yeah, I´m just doing it for fun and see it as an opportunity to practice my Japanese.  Yesterday was it Wednesday, which means it was my free day so I went to an Open Air Museum of Old Japanese Farmhouse. It was located in  Hattori Ryokuchi Park  which was a large park. The open-air museum was really beautiful with all the trees with colored leaves. The weather was also super nice, around 20 C. And I must say, the Japanese fall is totally the best season for visiting Japan. Recommendation😉 I was also almost alone in th
